Vertical, Choker, and Basket Wire Rope Slings

Vertical Wire Rope Slings are a type of rigging hardware used to lift and maneuver heavy objects. They consist of a single or multiple strands of galvanized steel wire rope with a center loop, eye, or other end fitting. They are designed to be used in vertical lifts and can be used in a variety of different configurations to meet the needs of the task. Vertical wire slings are very strong, durable, and can be used in a variety of applications, including crane use and other heavy lifting.

Choker Wire Rope Slings are similar to vertical wire rope slings, but are designed to be used in choker lifts. These slings are wrapped around an object in a loop and secured with a choker hitch. The choker hitch allows for a tighter grip on the object, which is ideal for vertical lifting and maneuvering heavy loads. Choker wire rope slings are also strong, durable, and can be used for a variety of purposes.

Basket Wire Rope Slings are made from multiple strands of galvanized steel wire rope and are used to lift and maneuver heavy loads. They are constructed in a basket-like shape, with multiple loops and eyes that secure the rope together. Basket wire rope slings are highly versatile.

Wire rope grommet slings have grommets or rings sewn into them at certain points along the length of the sling. These grommets or rings are used to attach the sling to lifting devices or rigging hardware. Regular wire rope slings do not have any grommets or rings sewn into them and must be attached to lifting devices or rigging hardware through other methods such as a thimble or a shackle.

Wire rope grommet slings provide more stability and support when lifting heavy loads, as the grommets or rings help distribute the weight of the load more evenly. Regular wire rope slings are more flexible and can be used in a variety of different applications, such as towing or for moving lighter loads.

These bridles are comprised of three lengths of wire rope, each with a swaged loop on the end. The loops are connected to a master link, which is then attached to a crane hook or other lifting device. Wire rope 3-leg bridles are available in a variety of angles, including 90 degrees, 60 degrees, 45 degrees, and 30 degrees.
